Matthew Scard, CEO of Celestino, was pleased to sign a memorandum of understanding between Celestino and Macquarie University to explore collaborative research, innovation and educational opportunities to deliver on the vision of Sydney Science Park.

The collaboration with Macquarie University will leverage their “Liveable Smart Green Cities initiative” that will explore creating a smart and sustainable city. This will include focusing on innovations in; water management, urban greening, heat abatement, smart technology (including smart construction), STEM education, health and wellbeing.

Mr Scard says “the collaboration between Macquarie University and Celestino will help shape the collective thinking around building smart cities that are sustainable and help create the necessary jobs for the future”.
